North Star is led by Matt Thompson, a 15-year Sales veteran who has built and led high performing Sales Teams at companies such as Blue State, Change.org, and EveryAction. Here's a little about Matt in his own words:
I love coaching.
Throughout my entire life and career, I've sought out any opportunity to support others by being a trusted guide and mentor. For me, there is no greater feeling than working with someone to build their skills and confidence, then watching them achieve goals that they once thought were unachievable. I love helping people win. More importantly, I love helping people make the mental shift to truly believing that they are capable and worthy of winning.
In my 15 years of being a Sales Leader I have built and led teams ranging in size from 1 to 50. I've hired over 100 highly talented people on to my various teams, and have personally trained and coached Sales and Business Development professionals from entry-level to seasoned executive. I've found that one thing is consistent across each coaching engagement I've led: With the right combination of strategy, motivation, and confidence, you will drive increased revenue.
I believe that the way to stronger sales performance is through building trust with your prospective client, understanding their key pain points, and helping them make the best decision for themselves or the organization they represent. I don't believe in overly-aggressive sales tactics, arbitrarily rushed sales cycles, or a lack of transparency just to get a signature on a contract. You can be a high-performing salesperson while also being highly ethical and desirable to buy from, and I can help you get there.
North Star brings individualized strategic guidance to make you a more effective revenue generator. Coaching engagements are conducted 1:1 or in a small group setting with your fellow sales leaders on your team. We'll hold a personalized discovery session then dig into your identified key focus areas and lead action-oriented sessions composed of a mix of coaching and real time strategic recommendations.
Coaching engagements include direct email support with Matt in between sessions to ensure you're properly applying your newly learned tools and techniques to increase your ability to increase your pipeline and drive your opportunities to close.
